Youth are able to access the following services
at our drop-in center:

Individual, Group & Family Therapy

TEP has dedicated trauma-focused therapists who provide individual, group, and family therapy for our clients. All therapists are well-versed in the unique therapeutic needs of the CSEC population and conduct weekly sessions for the youth.

CCSD Adult Education Program

TEP is an approved site for the CCSD Adult Education program, which allows youth who are not able to effectively participate in “regular” high school the opportunity to work at their own pace and graduate with either their high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate (HiSet).

Empowering Classes

TEP provides clients with a range of educational and empowering classes, providing youth with the knowledge necessary to protect themselves from predators, maintain their physical health, discuss issues relating to being a younger person, and increase life skills in different areas.

Material Resources

With the help of generous donations from our supporters, TEP always ensures that youth in our program have access to hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. It is important for youth to have access to hygiene supplies to be able to take care of their personal care needs, nurture a healthy self-image, and build confidence.

TEP Advocates

All eligible youth will be taken through a comprehensive intake and needs assessment to determine the most appropriate treatment and initial safety plan. All youth are assigned a victim advocate who provides each youth with individualized, one-on-one supportive services while modeling positive behavior.
